Trinity Ranch is a Non-Profit Mentoring and Educational Camp.
Campers will enjoy a full day of learning and fun! Two healthy snacks and a nutritious lunch will also be included.
Horsemanship from the Ground Up
Our biggest concern is safety. Campers will learn first and foremost how to be safe around horses. From there we will go on to equipment, proper care, grooming, etc. Then we will continue on to catching the horse, tack, proper saddleing and finally riding. Campers will also be responsible for taking care of the horses and their stalls.
Classroom Curriculum
Campers will not only learn about horses and farm animals hands on, they will also be taught about them in a classroom setting. Our volunteers will use lesson plans and curriculum designed to teach the campers a wide array of facts and information about horses and other farm animals that they will encounter on the ranch.
TEAM BUILDING ROPES COURSE
Our low ropes courses are challenging personal development and team building activities where real and imaginary obstacles will be used to challenge groups and individuals to work together to accomplish a task. These are extremely fun activities designed to reduce inhabitions and break down barriers. Activities are given to have campers try new things and pool their resources and work together to find solutions. Success is achieved when all members contribute to the outcome. These activities can enhance the campers self esteem, trust, teamwork, as well as setting goals and being a leader. They also help campers to learn how to cooperate, make decisions, and take positive risks.
